Subject Matter Expert (SME)
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Interfaces with Government management personnel
and functional proponents. Reports in writing and orally to Contractor
management and Government representatives, including the Unit Chief. The
candidate(s) shall possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of information
systems. Provides technical knowledge and analytical services in regard to
system architecture, equipment and software, and recommends enhancements to the
Government on all matters concerning IT Security. The candidate(s) shall be
able to plan and carry out complex tasks to completion. The candidate(s) shall
have excellent communication skills, writing skills and have command of the
English language. Candidate(s) shall interpret task requirements and select
methodologies and works within broad objectives. The candidate(s) shall
prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the task order.
The candidate(s) shall provide technical advice on security requirements for
highly specialized IT applications, technical report preparation or other
services as required by the task order.

SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
Secret or higher.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree
and ten (10) years of progressive
experience with IT systems administration, engineering and IT security. Ten (10)
years of comprehensive experience may be considered equivalent to a Bachelors
Degree. Five (5) years of this experience must have been in performing large IT
projects related to the individual's subject matter expertise and must have
occurred in the last eight (8) years. Should have Certification and
Accreditation experience.
